While we have good internet service here so I decided to update and share some photos we took along the way to Dawson Creek, mile 0 of the Alaska Highway.  This morning as we left Grand Prairie, Alberta, there were smokey skies from far away forest fires in British Columbia.  It was much clearer when we arrived in Dawson Creek.  Only staying one night and off to Ft. Nelson tomorrow for a couple of days. I caught up with people on Facebook too.  What a journey it has been.  To see our country and its Beauty (we of course have seen the ugly too) in so many of the States we visited.  Montana is full of ranches, mountains, pastures and wonderful scenery.  Wyoming, well it is COUNTRY! Loved it. Yellowstone is so full of different geysers and Hot springs. Old Faithful is awesome! Mt. Rushmore is a spiritual place.  Some people have said "oh its just heads you can see without going in."  Well I disagree.  Yes it can be see a few mile away, but what it took so many to carve etc. is worth going right up to it.  Viewing the artistry, hard work and craftsmanship it took to make this, well worth the trip.  Crazy Horse is on going because they refuse Federal monies, good for them.  Seeing this up close, what has been carved so far is, well, spectacular.  Glacier National Park is also a Jewel.   I hope many of you will be able to visit these Parks someday. Canada has it's own natural wonders.  Banff and Jasper National Parks of Canada are worth visiting and staying awhile. Loved everywhere we have been so far.  Thankful we are able to take this Journey!   Here are some photos:

Our last road view of these granite mountains of Banff.

I thought this mountain in Jasper was odd, but like it.  Can you see the circle part?
